FIBER ROOF COATING

DESCRIPTION
ALCO Fiber Roof Coating is a superior blend of asphalt, solvents and non-asbestos fiber fillers. Those fillers thicken the liquid asphalt to form a tough and elastic surface.

USE
:  Excellent as a protective coating on metal, smooth BUR, SBS Modified Bitumen membrane and roll roofing

ADVANTAGES
» Easy Application - Brush or Spray  »  Ready to use from the container  »  No heating or thinning  »  Fast and economical way to protect a flat roof

PREPARATION
Roof surface and all parapets should be swept clean of all dust and dirt. All repairs should be done before coating, with cotton membrane, fiberglass mat or ALCO Poly-S and either ALCO 24/7 Flashing Cement or ALCO Plastic Roof Cement.
NOTE: Install on roofs and decks with positive drainage. The National Roofing Contractors Association's observation is as follows: "The criteria for judging proper slope for drainage is there be no evidence of standing water on the deck 48 hours after it stops raining."

APPLICATION
After surface has been cleaned and repaired, Fiber Roof Coating can be applied directly from the container. Do not thin or apply like paint. Be sure to fill in all hairline cracks and crevices insuring a uniform coat over the entire roof surface.
BRUSH: Apply with a soft bristle brush. Pour directly from the container and spread evenly, brushing in one direction only.
SPRAY: Use airless equipment or a standard type mastic pump and apply a smooth and even coat.
