WET-BOND FIBER COATING

DESCRIPTION
ALCO Wet-Bond Fiber Coating is a special blend of refined cutback asphalt, a special chemical bonder and non-asbestos fillers. It is of a liquid consistency and can be spread with a roofing brush. This material will adhere to wet or dry surfaces and can also be used as an emergency repair.

USE
:  Emergency repair coating for wet or damp roof surfaces

ADVANTAGES
»  Adheres to wet surfaces  »  Ready to use from the container

PREPARATION
Surface to be repaired must be clean and free of debris that may interfere in proper adhesion. All blisters, parapets and protrusions should be repaired with ALCO Wet-Bond Cement.
For emergency repair, be sure to sweep all standing water, ice and snow from area to be repaired.

APPLICATION
Pour material, a little at a time, directly from the container. Brush in one direction only using a roof brush or squeegee. Be sure to fill all hairline cracks and crevices to insure a uniform coat over the entire roof surface.
For emergency repair, it may be necessary to brush harder than normal to push the material onto the surface, insuring a good adhesion. It is advisable to inspect the job when better working conditions return.
