WHITE ACRYLIC ROOF COATING

DESCRIPTION
ALCO MERIC White Acrylic Roof Coating is formulated from top quality acrylic latex emulsion, titanium dioxide pigment and other special ingredients, producing an excellent roof coating with long term adhesion and high resistance to chalking.

USE
:  Excellent for coating metal and concrete roof surfaces

ADVANTAGES
»  Brilliant white color contributes significantly to reducing interior temperatures by reflecting the sun's rays  »  Special formulation techniques result in a non-separating freeze-thaw stable product  »  High solids content results in minimum shrinkage and maximum retention of coating to surface after drying  »  Can be applied on damp surface

PREPARATION
The surface must be free and clear of all loose and peeling coating, dirt, oil, grease and other foreign materials. Remove all rust with wire brush. It is highly recommended that all surfaces be power washed using a mild detergent. After cleaning, the roof should be hosed down to thoroughly remove contaminants. All joints, seams and cracks should be repaired before application of coating . On metal roofs, priming rust spots is recommended.

APPLICATION
Pour coating onto a small area and spread with a roller or soft brush. This material can also be applied with an airless sprayer. Apply uniformly with a heavier coat around vents and seams. It may be necessary to cool down a hot roof by spraying with water to prevent excessive fast drying of coating. The roof may be coated when damp but not when there is standing water.
Apply only when coating will not be subjected to heavy dew or rain before the coating has dried (approximately 5 hours).
Hands and tools may be easily cleaned with soap and water.
CAUTION:  If the coating is rained on or becomes wet before it is thoroughly dry, there is a possibility that the material may dilute and run off the roof onto other surfaces. Should this happen, clean the stained surfaces as soon as possible with soap and water.
