METAL-PLY with Rust Inhibitor

DESCRIPTION
ALCO Metal-Ply with Rust Inhibitor is a superior blend of asphalt, solvents and non-asbestos fiber fillers. The fillers in this product strengthen the liquid asphalt to form a tough but elastic surface. Once cured, it will not track in summer or crack in winter.

PREPARATION
Be sure that surface to be covered is clean, dry and free of loose scaling, rust, dirt, mold, mildew, dust and debris. All loose and poorly bonded coatings or other materials must be removed. All blisters, parapets and protrusions must be repaired, using ALCO Plastic Roof Cement or ALCO Wet-Bond Cement. 

APPLICATION
Metal-Ply is used directly from the container and can be applied by spray, brush or squeegee on a metal roof. Do not apply like paint. Brush in one direction only. When brushing or spraying, be sure to fill all hairline cracks and crevices, ensuring a uniform coat over the entire roof surface.

Respiratory: Use with adequate ventilation. Inhalation of high vapor concentration may cause headaches and/or dizziness. NIOSH/MSHA approved respirators required if TLV is exceeded. 
Personal Protection: Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin, which may cause irritation. Wear chemical resistant gloves. Do not get in eyes; wear protective goggles. Wear protective clothing if needed. Do not take internally.
Fire Protection: Keep away from heat and open flame and any source of ignition.  
First Aid: Eye Contact - Rinse immediately with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Skin Contact - Wash with soap and water. Inhalation - Remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration; get emergency medical attention and keep victim warm. Ingestion - Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
Waste Disposal: Seal container when not in use. Empty containers must be disposed in an approved landfill in accordance with local, state and Federal regulations.
