DESCRIPTION ALCO 24/7 Flashing
Cement is an asbestos free revolutionary wet-dry flashing cement,
comprised of selected blends of pure cutback asphalt, choice solvents and
highly modified polymers. 24/7 is a heavy bodied product with elastomeric
qualities that make it an all-purpose, durable cement for wet or dry
surfaces, even under water. The revolutionary blending of this product
allows it to spread smoothly and easily in cold and hot temperatures. ALCO
24/7 has unique chemical compounds which give it great strength allowing
it to cure to a tough yet flexible film.

PREPARATION Surface must be clean, dry and free from oil, grease,
dirt, debris and any foreign matter that will interfere with proper
adhesion. All repairs must be done before application. On small hairline
cracks, fill the crack and feather down all edges. On larger cracks or
voids, it may be necessary to imbed a membrane cloth into this material
then apply another coat over entire area.
APPLICATION Apply material with a standard trowel or putty
knife. On small hairline cracks, fill the crack and feather down all
edges. On larger cracks or voids, it may be necessary to use a cotton or
fiberglass membrane cloth with this material. Apply 24/7 to repair area,
then embed membrane into cement. Apply another coat of 24/7 over the
entire repair area. Once repair has been made, entire surface may be
covered with ALCO Fiber Roof Coating or one of ALCO's aluminum roof
coatings.
